Genre Project
1. My intended audience is people like me. By me I mean that they are young adults that
aspire to become a photographer one day but dont know how to do that. They are people
who are just as confused as I was before I started this inquiry project. I choose this
audience because I wanted people like me to be able to understand how to go about being
successful. It can be confusing having to do a bunch of research but Im hoping my
project can help my audience better understand the basics of the research.
2. My purpose for sharing this topic is to inform my audience. I hoping by sharing the
things I learned that my audience will learn something too. I decided on this purpose
because I thought it was the best way to share what I learned in an educational manner.
3. For my genre project, I created a video. The video I filmed one day when I was with a
couple of good friends as a background for my information. I figured it would be more
interesting to read/watch a video rather than look at a PowerPoint. Film photography is
similar to photography so I was also hoping that the correlation would show between the
two different categories of the same art. I believe this was the best way to share my
findings because it will keep my viewers interesting enough to pay attention and learn.
