Activity
This morning I assisted in
monitoring the lunchroom at Trace
Crossings. I was able to help the
teachers that are normally
monitoring the lunchroom. Overall
the kids were well behaved. My
class was in the lunchroom and I
was able to walk with them to
their class after the teacher
dismissed them.
This was the first time I was able
to meet with Jordan. He is in 4th
grade and knew his math facts
very well. We started with the
iStation and he knew what he was
doing. I didnt have to assist him
much in the process.
Jordan was a little late this time
because he was coming from First
Priority. We were only able to work
on a little bit of the iStation, but
he worked on place value and
knowing the value of the number
that was in each place.
Jordan was able to work the full
time today. We went down and he
told me how he knew all of his
multiplication facts. I asked him a
few just off the top of my head
and he was able to answer fairly
quickly. Again we worked on
iStation and he was still working
on place values with very large
numbers.
Jordan went to First Priority again
today so we were only able to
work on iStation for a short period
of time. He did a great job with
the place value section again. He
seemed to be on track and always
willing to work, which was very
nice.

Today was my last day with

Jordan. All of the students took a
timed multiplication facts quiz.
Jordan was able to complete the
whole quiz correctly with time to
spare. He knew what he was doing
and had his multiplication facts
down. His speed may have
improved throughout this process
but I believe he knew his facts
before I worked with him.
