Genre project
The purpose of this genre project is to inform people and awake peoples curiosity. By
informing people, I hope people will think about my question. Personally, I did not find the
answer to my question, which is how we ended with so many languages, but if I tell other people
about my question, they might find the answer.
The audience is people, who are interested and love languages. Also, the people who
want to learn a new information about languages are one of my audience. The reason why I
choose or I think this is my audience is because we share the same passion, which is knowledge,
and the love for languages in general.
My topic is about languages. I was wondering, how there are so many languages.
Therefore, I started searching, but since languages is a huge topic. I had to narrow it down, and I
decided to let my topic be about Semitic languages. Specifically, Arabic and Hebrew.
The way I am going to present my genre project is by stating my background
information, and what is my first language. Then I am going to talk a little bit about Semitic
languages, and what are the Semitic languages. Then, I am going to talk about the aspect that I
learned about Arabic language and how did the Arabic language influence some other language.
After that, I am going to talk about the Hebrew language, and how the Hebrew language was
dead as a spoken language, but then it was revived. At the end, I will talk about the relation
between Arabic language and Hebrew language. In terms of vocabulary, writing, and

pronunciation. Also, I will share a video that illustrates the difference between Arabic and
Hebrew by a specialist person, who has a positive background in languages.
