The Rise Of Donald Trump
What cultural and political factors need to be present to allow for a demagogue /dictation to
rise?
Introduction: At this very moment history is being made we have one of the most
controversial
Summary:
Thesis: Weak nations arise demagogue leaders that may rise from poverty, increase of
weapons or military and has created themselves different cults of personalities
Body 1: Economic /disparity
Two dozen countries joined a conflict that swept continents and killed 20 million
people, we call this the great war. Empires collapsed, nations picking up the pieces and war
aftershocks still shaking the world to this day. At the end of World War 1 in 1918, and through
World War 2 1945, Europe's Jewish population went from 9.5 million to 3.5 million from Jews
immigrating and most being killed off by the German Government merely because they were
Jews. Germany had received the biggest lost at the end of the great war, during and after the war
they suffered terribly economically. The industrial output fell by 40% between 1914 and 1918
and they lost many working men at war, and at this point they Germany was at its lowest. With
the workforce not physically well enough that there was food shortages it was so bad that
Germans ate dogs, crows and zoo animals, rodents, and even the front-line troops were reduced

to meager portions of horse-meat. Not only that Kaiser Wilhelm 11 gave up his throne, within
hours the Social Democrats and the largest political party in Germany's Parliament replaced the
monarchy government to republic. Facing these incredible challenges Germany pointed fingers
at the Jews.
Body 2: Continue
Most of Germany ultimately believe the first step to saving themselves from the Jews and
other races was destruction of Weimar Republic. Adolf Hitler view the Germans as the Aryan
race, he pronounced that his race and stayed pure to that for the idea that he will take over the
world. *what germany had to pay off. Even though the Jews suffered right along with everyone
else the blame was still put on them, and Hitler completely agreed with that. Hitler shared an
autobiography when he was in prison that shared Hitler's beliefs and plans for Germany's future,
The book romanticized the Volk by comparing them to the evil and soulless Jews(264
Evans) Even though many shared their thoughts about Jews, no many would think about going as
far as Hitler. Donald Trump, the nominee of the Republican party running of the United States
2016 election he is as well an American businessman, politician. author and as well a Television
personality.
Body 3: Trump & Hitler Connection.
These 2 powerful leaders may be from 2 different times but certainly both may be
prejudice towards a certain race, Mr. Trump may not have the same plans for the Immigrants but
does show the prejudice towards them. Donald Trump states1. A nation without borders is not a
nation. There must be wall across the southern border. 2. A nation without laws is not a nation.
Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced. 3. A
nation that does not serve it own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve

jobs, wages and security for all Americans(1 DT). Both leaders seem to bring out good
intentions, Adolf Hitler wanted to make Germany great again and now Mr. Trump wants to bring
America back up. These leaders are both rising from weak nations, especially weak nations with
economic problem. *Examples of America's problems*. These directors both know how to get to
these people and how to understand them fully through connection emotionally, we call
demagogue leaders, The most common powerful modern demagogues are sincere and fanatic
believers in their mission as saviors of their people.(487 Neumann). Trump's campaign is
Make America Great Again he believes is solely believes he the one that can make America at
its best again, he may view himself as the man that will save his country by creating borders and
borders and being prejudice towards immigrants. The Nazi party believed that killing and
torturing off the Jews will make Germany better home for their people, Trump believes removing
the immigrants will create the same. Both coming with good intentions for one's country but both
being reluctant towards a race. Some may argue that just because Trump may have certain
leadership skills of Adolf Hitler but may not have the same outcome as him, yes that may be true
but when you have a leader that may be as passionate as those two anything may happen.
Body 4: Continuation
As people we want to believe that we try our best to be as good as possible, but when
we're driven and weak and we just want solutions we give in. With many financial problems with
both germany
