Cyber Bullying
IntroA. One of the highest rate of crimes that go unreported is cyber bullying.
B. Cyber bullying is the issue of getting harassed and bullied online.
C. It affects many people and can be prevented.
CounterA. You can just ignore the person who is bullying.
B. You dont have to keep reading their comments or texts, just block
them or turn off your device.
C. I feel it is on the bullied persons end that they could prevent it too if
they just ignored it.
D. It is not the person who is bullied fault, it is the bullies fault.
Many people can just walk away, but its not their fault they are getting
bullied.
The bullies dont have to do this and can easily stop.
Main Point #1A. Cyber bullying and words can hurt a person, and is a big issue
B. 95% of teens have witnessed cruel behavior on social network sites.

C. The person who could report it could have been prevented it by telling
an official.
When people see bullying online they should report it, so the one
bullying cant do it anymore. More people need to stand up for others
when they see someone getting bullied.
D. More people need to report cyber bullying to prevent more cases
earlier.
Main Point #2A. There are many effects cyber bullying can cause.
B. A person can be depressed from cyber bullying.
They can miss school to avoid the bully and not come into school a lot
of days and miss out on good education.
Kids can use drugs and alcohol to help them forget and help them calm
down, and drugs and alcohol are bad things to get into.
160,000 kids stay home from school every day because of fear of
bullying. (bullyingstatistics.org)
C. Cyber bullying can take a toll on a persons life, their life can change
from an event with cyberbullying.
D. I think any normal person can agree getting into bad habits is not
good, so people should stop cyber bullying.
Main Point #3-

A. Cyber bullying can take a real toll on a kids life.


B. Bullies might cause a kid to hurt themselves.
In some extreme cases, cyber bullying can cause a person to take their
own life, that is very tragic.
Bully victims are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide, than non
victims. (bullystatistics.org)
C. There are extreme effects cyber bulling can have on a person.
D. Suicide is terrible in general, so people should not be causing it with
cyber bullying.

Conclusion
A. All in all, I think we can all agree that cyber bullying is bad.
It can take a toll on a persons health and life.
If you think words cant hurt, then you are wrong.
B. Cyber bullying can cause a person to hurt themselves or more
tragically, take their own lives.
These kids have their whole lives ahead of them and it would be a
shame for it to end prematurely because of some cyber bullies.
C. I think anyone is capable of preventing it when they see it.
You already know the extreme effects it can have on a person, if you
could stop all of this, would you?
