The Hardware
Requirements

In order to use the


Paint Program, the
following basic
computer hardware
components should be
used, namely:

SYSTEM UNIT (CPU)


MONITOR
KEYBOARD
MOUSE
PRINTER

Central Processing Unit (CPU)


Also known as the brain of
the computer. It controls
and manipulates the data to
produce the information that
you need. It also controls
and manipulates the icons
or tools in the MS Paint.

Monitor
It is where we could see the
input data. The screen also
shows the computers output
like numbers, letters and
words. It can also display
colorful
pictures
and
drawings using the MS Paint.

Keyboard
It looks like typewriter. It
has keys or buttons with
numbers and letters. The
computer gets information
through the keyboard. This
is also used to perform
task in MS Paint.

Mouse

An input device used to


move and manipulate
the text graphics and to
locate a pointer on the
screen. Mouse is used to
select drawing tools in
MS Paint.

Printer
The printer is used to
produces printed output.
The paper copy of the
computers output is called
hardcopy . The pictures and
drawings in the MS Paint can
be printed using the printer.
