Subject: Improving the university library

Introduction
Our campus library is visited by an enormous number of students every day since
it is regarded as one of the best libraries in the institution. However, there are some
issues that need to be improved with the view to providing visitors with a better
service.
Improvements that should be made
After asking some peers, we reach the conclusion that the facilities that could be
improved are the following:
The library does not have recently published books
The only available magazines are written in Spanish
The library is opened very late in the morning
Recommendations for improving our library
To begin with, it would be of extreme benefit to purchase some books that were
published in the recent past. By doing this, not only will students be better
familiarized with up-dated information on different topics, but also more interested
in finding more about their school subjects.
Moreover, there should be more magazines written in other languages such as
English since there are researchers whose work is mainly published in English. Not
only will those publications be beneficial to our careers, but I anticipate that they
will also provide us with a better understanding of recent discoveries.
Last but not least, the library should be open earlier in the morning. That way,
students will have more time to do their research work with plenty of time, which
may result in their improving of grades.
Conclusion
It was felt by some students of this faculty that if those recommendations were to
be considered, the service could be increased in quality.
