Colour and Shape

The colour and shape of crystal prepared earlier was observed and recorded.

b Solubility and colour change

1ml(20 drops) samples of distilled water, 5% HCl, 5% NaHCO3 , 5% NaOH(aq) were

added into 4 different clean and labelled test tubes.
Each tubes was added with small amount of complexes.
The solution was mix and the observation was recorded.
After 10 minutes, the four test tubes were heated in a water bath and it was observed.
Any colour changes, evolution gas and evidence or reaction as such precipitation,
solubility enhanced was observed and recorded.
