Competency A Professionalism and Understanding:

You exhibited professionalism throughout every part of the lesson. You have
established very good rapport with the learners and your MST - very
encouraging that your MST was involved in the lesson during the group work.
You dealt with all aspects of the lesson from planning to implementation in a
very professional manner showing understanding of the demands of teaching
young learners.
Category B Planning for Learning:
An outstanding lesson plan was provided in time before the lesson. Your
lesson outcomes were stated clearly with an understanding of the prior
knowledge and abilities of students. The quality of the accompanying
teaching aids both digital and those you made to assist individual and group
work were outstanding and a tribute to the time you spent on preparation
before the lesson. The scaffolding of language elements shows that you were
aware of the planning needed for such a task.

Category C Implementing and Managing Learning:

The lesson began promptly with the learners engaged in the opening
activities. The timing of the lesson and different activities was excellent. You
stated your objective to use English early and you gave them a specific short
period that they could use Arabic and ask questions in Arabic. You went over
the language items such as adjectives for personal descriptions that were
needed for the lesson. You then scaffolded new language and this worked
well. You managed the transition into the practical exercises very well. Having
a student do the observation and rewarding of students I n points worked
very well. The competitive nature of the matching the word to the meaning
enhanced the activity well and the language in the meanings was simple
enough for the students to understand. The major activity of the students
describing themselves with adjectives worked well and you circulated around
the groups well. The feedback at the end and awarding of the best students
