4 Square Skills- Assessment is given at the beginning and at the end of

a grading period with several times in between. Intention is to monitor
student progress and growth in articulating art skills. These skills are
important to foster and grow so that students have the tools necessary
to create meaningful and intentional works of art.
I give the assessment 3-4 times per semester.

After each 4 Square Skills Check , I go back to the tracking sheet
and check which skills I see (that I have been teaching and I am testing
for) in their drawings. If I see the skill expressed, then I put a tick mark
underneath the appropriate box. I also take notes in student growth
and student areas of need.
