Title
Today is Monday - Mini Lesson
Central Focus (Enduring Understandings)
A description of the important understandings(s) and concept(s)
Its important to learn the days of the week because students can make reasonable predictions about routines and events that will occur throughout
their lives. Learning the days of the week introduces students to the concept of time. Through the subjects, such as music and language arts,
students will explore and deepen their understanding of the concept yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
In this lesson, music and LA will be integrated to reinforce the students memory about the days of the week. Music can be used as a teaching
strategy to engage students and reinforce rote memorization.
