Skills Analysis

Working effectively with others
(For example, on a group project or with children).

A team of four students, which included me, wrote a script to compere at an event
in the centre of Bradford. This event was to improve the education of post 16 year
olds in the dicrict. We have to keep everything running to time and working as a
team to adapt to any changes.

Communication

Last year I took part in an event where I had to present a presentation to

employers. So I had to use the appropisate lanugage that an emplyer would be
used to, as well as being confident. I also had too react and answer to on the spot
questions which I did successfully.

Judgement and decision making

The only experiance I have of this is when after events finish I would have to
evalate. But other than that I do not have any experiance.

I do not have any expiriance of this.

I have done a mathamatices course at college which involes problem solving at a

level three standard. So I believe that I can proplem solve and think outside the
box very well.

Time Management
(For example, ensuring your assignments are done on time)

At college I normally hand in my assignments on time, but occationally I had them

in late. Therefore I believe that my time managment can improve.

Use of IT
(For example, word processing a report, using a specialist package to solve a maths problem)

I have qualifications in uusing Mircosoft products such a Word and Exel. I can use
Exel advancly as well as Word to do things like a Mail Merge. I can always learn
new skills in Mircosoft products, but I sm more advance than the normal person.

Achieving your goals

(For example, getting enough votes to be elected to a role in society)

Specialist subject knowledge

I have level three knowledge in business, including emplyment law. This is needed
in nearly every job that a person will go into.

In which skills can you offer plenty of examples where you are using the skill?

In transfereable skills such as organisation; all my college work is orgaisaed into

files and folders so I can access them with ease. Also the trasfereable skill
teamwork; when dooing Unit 18 (event managment) and while working on other
projects I have had to work as a team efficently to achieve goals.

In which skills do you have no evidence?

I do not have eveidence for negosiating, and that is needed to achieve my end
goal.
