Present the lyrics on the board (like I have below in the lyrics section)
Sing the song once for the children so that they know the melody of the song.
Sing the song again and have the children join you in singing.
Explain what each symbol/color on the words on the board means (can make up your own
movements)
Present the song by singing and add the movements.
Let the student practice this once by singing and doing the movements along with you.
Show the students the two faces and explain that they should sing the words when the face
with the open mouth is shown and that they need to internally sing the words in their head to
the rhythm when the face with the closed mouth is shown. When they have to sing in their
head, they are to perform the movements even though they are not singing aloud.
Show the face with the open mouth in the beginning so that the students begin singing. You,
as the teacher, can how the face with the closed mouth whenever you want to have the
students sing internally.
After the activity, explain to the students that they just performed an audiation activity and
explain what it is.

Connection: Can be P.E. if you add more physical movement instead of body percussion
Resources: Tideo song, lyrics, two different faces (one singing, one with the mouth closed)
(can be handmade or just printed pictures)
