Cougar Camp Schedule (Grades 1-2)

Morning Drop Off: 8:45-9AM
Afternoon Drop Off: 1PM-1:15PM

Morning Pick Up: 12PM-12:15PM

Afternoon Pick Up: 4:15PM-4:30PM

This schedule is meant as a guideline for you and your child(ren). Other activities are also planned but not
listed. Reminder: Please dress for the weather. Label all items brought to camp with
your childs first and last name. Tennis shoes required at all times. When using the gym
children must wear tennis shoes.
Week 1: Summer Mash-Up, its a mix of your favorite summer
games (June 24th-June 28th)
M- Move it if, Long Base-Short Base, and Catch the Dragons Tail
T- Literacy Games, Bird Feeder, Keep Away, Obstacle Courses and Kick the Can
W- Wet and Wild Day (Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel) Cold Potato, Drip Drip
Soak, and Musical Statues
TH- Literacy Games, King Pin, Statues, Sidewalk Chalk, and Silent Ball
F- Summer Block Party!!! Come kick off the summer with a camp wide block party. Bring
your camp
T-shirt to tie-dye
Week 2: Glow, this week is going to glow brighter than the sun (July 1 st-July 5th)
M- Shadow Tag, Glow Hunt, and Glow in the Dark Window Decorations
T- Literacy Games, Solar System Challenge, Amazing Gravity, and Capture your Own
Fairys
W- Wet and Wild Day (Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel) Firefly Craft, Firefly Firefly,
and Dont Drop the Asteroid
TH- Happy Fourth of July (No Camp Today)
F- Friday Fairy Stories, Space Stations, Invisible Drawings, and Snow Cones
Week 3: Under the Sea, dive into the deep sea (July 8 th-July 12th)
M- Shark Chase, Bubbles in a Bubble, and Octopus
T- Literacy Games, Deep Sea Diving, and save a bit of the Ocean in a
Bottle
W- Wet and Wild Day (Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel) Shark
and
Minos, Captains Coming, and Octopus Alert
TH- Literacy Games, Treasure Hunt, Fire Away, and Sand Art
F- Friday Fairy Stores, Boat Race, Octopus Craft, and Snow Cones

Week 4: Passport to Fun, come travel the world with us (July 15 th-July
19th)
M- Mexico: Zapatitio Ingles, Las Cuatro Esquinas, and make
Sombreros and Maracas
T- France: Bridges, Escargot, and sightseeing at the Eiffel Tower
W- Germany: Koffer Packen, Zucker und Salz, Hole in the Bucket, and
Wet and Wild Day (Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel)
TH- Hawaii: Ulua Maika, Islands Basket Toss, and hula dance in a
Grass Skirt
F- Around the World!!! Catch a ride in an airplane, boat, or car
because we are traveling around the world. We will also have snow
cones.
Week 5: Out of This World, everyone has something super about them (July 22 nd-July 26th)
M-Save the Citizen, Moon Soccer, and start your Superhero Identity with a Mask
T- Literacy Games, Fly Away, Save the World, and Superhero Power Generator
W- Wet and Wild Day (Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel) Super Memory, Meteoroid Fight,
and Kryptonite is Poisson
TH- Literacy Games, Tai Chi, X-ray Vision, and style youre Superhero Capes
F- Friday Fairy Stories, Fire and Ice, Everyones Super, and Snow Cones
Week 6: Under the Big Top, come clown around with us (July 29 thAugust 2nd)
M- Ring Toss, Monkey Toss, and become the Ring Leader of your own
Circus

Clown
W- Wet and Wild Day (Wear you bathing suit and bring a towel) Who

TH- Carnival Games!!! Today we are going to play a ton of fun
activities.
