When his wife stops supporting him, he is brave enough to

carry on with his investigation all by himself. Eventhough he risks
losing his family, John pushes on until he eventually finds out that
his doppelganger is actually trying to save his family from a
disaster.
John teaches me to be brave and not give when not even one
person stay at our side at time. Always be courage to solve the
problems all by ourselves.

The interesting character in novel How I Met Myself is Andrea. She

is a person with many interesting qualitites. First, she is a helpful
person. She helps John to solve the mystery of his doppelganger.
She accompanies him to visit No 7 Felka Utca to find the truth.
She also helps Zsolt to decorate his cafe to get more
customers. She is indeed a helpful character. Furthermore, she is a
good and patient wife to John. She takes good care of John
whenever he has nightmares. At first, she is supportive wife but
after the baby was born, she tells John to stop his search and asks
him to focus on his family. As a result, their relationship becomes
strained. Yet, she remains by his side through thick and thin.
This character teaches the reader to always put our family
first and be a loyal family member when one of our beloved person
faces difficulties in life.

In the novel How I Met Myself, my favourite character is John
Taylor because he is brave. This is shown as John happily accepts
the challenge of working in a foreign country that he has never
been to. After meeting his doppelganger, he does not let his fear
stop him from finding out the truth.

In the novel How I Met Myself, a character who i dislike the most is
John Taylors wife, Andrea. Eventhough she was being a supportive
wife towards John at the start about finding the truth behind his
doppelganger, it was not long before she started to withdraw her
support for John.
She started to get annoyed about Johns obsession with his
doppelganger. As a result, their marriage was almost destroyed. I
think Andrea should have supported John throughout his entire
search instead of abandoning him halfway. It is a wifes duty to
always support her husband no matter what has happened.

I like the story How I Met Myself because it is interesting and
inspiring. The story is also full of mystery with a twist in the end. It
tells us about an Englishman named John Taylor. He is a computer
programmer in Hungary and married to Andrea, a Hungarian
woman.

One day, John is knocked down by a man while walking home

from work. The man had come out of a nearby building. To Johns
surprise, the man looked just like him. So, John follows him into the
cafe but cannot find him. John feels disturbing and determined to
find the man. This determination has affected his family life so
much.
As expected, His wife, Andrea, becomes very angry with him
for spending too much time on a dead man. Initially, John brushes
Andreas feeling aside for he is determined at all costs to find out
the truth. This is because he knows that his doppelganger has an
important message for him. He just cannot understand what the
message is. He feels angry, frustrated and scared.
He goes to No 7 Felka Utca to ask people around about Janos
Szabo. He asks people if they have see a man entering the cafe.
Then he goes to the library and picks up the newspaper on news
about happening in Budapests Thirteent District every 18 January
starting 10 years before. He goes to see Mrs Fischer to ask more
about Janos Szabo and his wife and daughter who killed in the
explosion. In the final chapter, his doppelganger saved Andrea n
Kati from the explosion.
All in all, Ilike this story very much as it is very interesting
and full of mystery. Little by little, it all comes together and finally
we know why John meets his doppelganger.

The important lesson that i have learnt in the novel How I Met
Myself is love your family. John taylor loved Andrea who was a
teacher of the Hungarian language. They connected with each other
very well. Andrea loved john so much that she could see there was
something in his mind. Andrea could see that John was not happy as

he wore a worried look on his face. She noticed that John was very
much disturbed and cannot sleep at all. So she asked him what was
happening.
While John loved Andrea too, so he didnt want to worry her .
therefore, he kept the doppelganger story to himself. But he felt
terrible to see Andrea so worried about him. He started crying,
thinking that he had done injustice to his loving wife.
It was later when John got Andreas help to go to No 7 Felka
Utca to gather more information about his doppelganger. John felt
more confident and happy that Andrea was with him.
John and Andrea loved their daughter, Kati very much. They
learnt it was not easy to travel with a baby around. However they
had never complained for they loved Kati very much
Above are the events that display love for ones family. From
the events, I have learnt to put my family above all and always
appreciate them all the time.

Janos Szabos wife was working in the cellar at that time. She
had her daugher with her. Both mother and child were killed just as
the fighting in Pest ended. It made me very sad to know that two
lovely innocent lives were killed. Im also very sad for Janos Szabo
for he became very sad, lonely and stopped wanting to live. It can
be predicted for person who has an experience in losing someone
they love especially who they share their life with.

The main theme in the novel How I Met Myself is love. This theme is
significant in this novel as it resolves around John Taylor and his
family. This can be seen from the way they take care of each other
and the way John and Andrea support each other through difficult
times in life.
Andrea is symbol of a loyal anf loving wife, who stands by her
husband, no matter what is happening to him. Finally, John shows
his love towards his family and being a responsible father and
husband.
Although there are times when he is consumed with finding
his doppelganger, there is no question that he loves his family when
he willing to put his life in danger to save them from harm in
explosion.
This story teaches me to always stand up beside my family
members and always ready to share problem with other.

I think the part where John Taylor finally realises what John heard an
explosion from Gergely Utca is the most suspence moment in the
novel How I Met Myself
It was full of suspence because as a reader, i had already
figured out the parallel events between John Taylor and Janos Szabo
and the cafe which both Andreas worked in. It made me wonder if
John Taylors family died in the explosion too. When John runs to the
scene and found out that Andrea and Kati were in the cafe, he
became helpless and seem to indicate that the novel was going to
end badly but it didnt as the doppelganger had managed to make
Andrea left the cafe. John finally managed to find his family and
really thankful to his doppelganger for saving his family from
disaster.

In the novel How I Met Myself, the scene i find an interesting
event is where what has puzzled John Taylor comes to light. When
John has read Andreas note, he immediately rushes out into the

street and to No 7, Felka Utca. There is a huge explosion at Gergely

Utca. Johns legs go limp and he wobbles as though the whole world
is upon him. He thinks that he has lost his beloved wife and child.
He cries for help but it is too late. He blames himself for not
explaining to Andrea earlier.
Just then, he meets his doppelganger again. This time his
doppelganger does not run away. He is pointing his finger down the
road. John could not believe his own eyes. They are Andrea and
Kati. Andrea explains to him that it is his doppedganger who saved
them. He insisted Andrea and Kati to go away from the place.
Hence, they are safe from the explosion. The family is reunited and
it is indeed a very happy, loving and emotional emotion.
i choose this scene because this scene brings the happiness
to the family after the turbulance and problem that John faces since
the first day he meets his doppelganger has resolve.

An important incident in novel How I Met Myself is when John Taylor
finds out that a mother and her child had died in an explosion in
Gergely Utca which happened in 18 January 1948. John feels that
incident might relate to his problem.
He learns about Mrs Szabo when he meet Mrs Fischer who
tells John about Janos Szabo. Janos also had a wife and a daughter
called Andrea and Kati. Mrs Fischer says that Johns face looks
exactly like Janos. John is shocked with the many similarities that he
has with Janos Szabo, his doppelganger and he is afraid that
something bad would happen to his family too. In fact, it is this
discovery that has saves Johns family from a similar explosion at
the cafe.
I think in this event, the writer exposes the reality to John and
especially to the reader about the relationship or similarities
between John and Janos. This turning point gives John a thought
how Janos relates to him and what message he brings for John.

In the novel How I Met Myself, i like the ending because it has a
happy ending where finally we know that Andrea and her baby were
saved from the explosion.
Janos Szabo saved them from an explosion at the cafe by
preventing them from entering it. At first, John was not able to
understand why his doppelganger appeared before him on the
snowy day.
Things became clear at the end as he finally understood that
his doppelganger was trying to save Johns family from disaster.
After the incident, Andrea finally believed John about the existence
of his doppelganger.
First, I feel relieved to find out Andrea and Kati are saved
from the disaster. But i feel more relieved when finally Andrea
knows that John is not lying about his doppelganger. Thanks to
Janos Szabo because he saves John and Andreas relationship and
they live happily ever after.
