GENERAL PLAN OF ACTION

1. STRENGTHEN ADMIN-SC RELATIONSHIP
The student council is the bridge between the students and the admin. If that bridge
is compromised, the student body will be one that will be affected the most. We will
strengthen that bridge to have effective activities and campaigns most especially that there
is a possibility to have a new leadership in the admin and the system itself.
2. CONSULTATIVE AND TRANSPARENT STUDENT COUNCIL
As the group being mandated to uphold the students rights and welfare, the student
must feel secure that the council is really pro-students. For this to happen, we will have a
council that is transparent and consultative in nature.
3. REVAMP COLLEGE BASED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
College based organizations is one of the few things that keeps the SOTECH Spirit
burning. In the coming school year, these organizations will likely to not have new members
because there will be no first years. In order to keep these organizations from dying, the
student council must always be there as their support system. We will have more inter-org
activities and for the first time in SOTECH, we will have our very own Student Org Summit.
Also, we will produce a Students Guide to Admin Procedures to help the students and the
student orgs in applying for administrative formalities like permits and alike.
4. AMPLIFY VOLCORPS
Student volunteerism is where leaders are being honed and molded. VolCorps in
SOTECH also plays an important role when it comes to activities and events. VolCorps is the
first line of manpower of the student council. The council should have a better program for
the VolCorps. We should make them feel that it is more of a privilege than of a burden being
a VolCorps.

5. PRO-STUDENT LEADERSHIP
What the SOTECH needs is a student council that will put the welfare of the students
above color. What the SOTECH needs is a student council that is willing to fight for the
students rights and welfare. What the SOTECH needs is a student council whose brand of
leadership is Pro-student.
