Chapter1: student-centered classroom

To create a student centred classroom the teacher have to let the
students choose what to do and decide what learning style is
suitable for them, and it lets children be in charge of their activity,
all of the choices in the classroom are student based, and the
.teacher is just an instructor there
The teacher helps her students "only if needed " and she let them
choose the time or the activity or even the students that they want
to work with because students will discover their knowledge when
.they search for answers themselves
The students in my TP(teaching practice ) class sit where ever the
want Even if it was far away, on the floor, or anywhere, the
important thing is that the student feels comfortable In the
.classroom
The students can also sit in groups to discuss the lesson, and the
teachers can just walk around them and correct them if they were
wrong, the teacher has to give them student centred activities so
they can feel independent and secure, students must ask questions
.and search for the answer themselves and explore and investigate

Chapter 2: Encouraging positive student behavior

To encourage the proper behavior of your classroom students, you should
be a model of positive behavior you should behave in a positive way even
if the students behaved in a bad way so the students can be like you (the
,teacher )
The teacher can encourage the behavior by prizing the students with
using positive words to raise their self-esteem like, you did amazing, good
boy/girl you can also use a hug or a smile to make them happy about
.themselves
The teacher must show respect to the student so the students can respect
them and listen to their needs and try to encourage them or prize them in
front of their classmates if they behaved will in the classroom, so their
classmates can do the same as he did and become good students in the
.class
In my TP class, the teacher smiles all the time because she thinks that
smiling will help them feel good in class and if she respect the students
.and their ideas they will respect her
She has a chart that the students put a star sticker on if they feel like they
.did a good job

Chapter 3 : Learning styles

It's to individualize learning into different styles, and there are over
.seven learning styles
I'm going to describe each learning style, and I'm going to start with
the visual learning and most people use the visual learning style,
and it's easy to use for the teachers because they use pictures and
.colors in their lesson so the visual learners will know more
The bodily-kinesthetic students are a bit different from the visual
because they should use the body to learn so they must move in the
lesson they communicate well through body language
for the musical who show the love of music and rhythm will
communicate quickly through music and will learn better. The
interpersonal and the intrapersonal learn differently because the
interpersonal understand the interaction with others, but the
interpersonal understand his interests and goals, the logical person
is the one who has reason and think conceptually and the linguistic
uses words effectively
my MST in TP class always have 3 activities for different children
using their style of learning, that she thinks it's going to work for
them and help them , she use activities that are with music or some
.event that they can move in or a regular worksheet

Chapter 4:lesson planning

Teachers must have a particular strategy to start teaching a lesson;
they can use the five Es to learn then write an objective because it's
very helpful when you start your lesson and it's going to help you to
.have an organized lesson
:The five Es are
engage: it's what the teachers use to let the children interfere in -1
the teaching and feel like they are a part of the lesson
explore: it's when they use activities that are hands on and raise-2
their skills
explain: on this stage it's better to let the students demonstrate 3
what they understand from the lesson so that the lesson can be
student-centred
extent: this makes the students expand their learning, it's also -4
.hands on
evaluate: it's important to evaluate student after giving them a -5
lesson because the teacher should know if the students understand
the lesson or not
I had seen my MST use the 5Es in her classroom every week when I
.attended she engage the students by relating to their daily life
Then let them explore and find answers by themselves and after that, they
explain what theyve found and extend their learning and at last she gives
.them a worksheet or activity to work on

Chapter 5 Managing classroom routines and

transitions
Routines
Routines are easy on students and I think teachers should use it if
they are able to because students understang whats goning to
happen in the class if there was a daily or a weekly routien
To help the students with classroom routines; the teacher must .
start explaining the methods from the first day she enters the class
.and try not to forget them so the students can be settled with them
Transition
You can teach students how to move from one area to another by
using transition with songs or clap, use a transition that students will
.enjoy when performing it
Transition can be difficult for children to understand so teachers
should use daily routines to teach them
The students in my TP ( teacher practice ) have so many routines
and the transition that they have in fact a routine that the students
.do every day
The teacher taught them how to move from circle area to play time
from the first day they came into class, with using a song about
.game time and lining up
Every time you have a transition you should tell the students a few
minutes before, so they are allowed to be ready for the transition
.and it will help the teacher

Chapter 6
The roles and responsibilities of a teacher
The teacher has lots of roles and responsibilities that she must be
.professional about and understand them clearly
The teachers responsibilities are important because the instructor has to
make sure that the students understood the lesson and can answer the
questions she gives them and provide resources for the students to learn
.in an appropriate environment
And The teachers roles is that they should also help the students that
need help even if the lesson is child-centered when she/he is the students
role model they must behave in a well-mannered way and show the
students a clear explanation of the lesson
My MST as I said before encourages well-behaving teachers, and she
stated that she never say no to the students when they answer a question
wrong but she encourages them to have the right answer because she
.feels like thats her role of being a teacher
And she follows all the roles that the school has given her, in fact she is
.following it step by step with he check lest on her hands

Chapter 7: Reflective Statement

I think that I've learned a lot in this course and especially the TP class
because I observed the teaching of a real teacher and I understand her
way of teaching and I think its easy to teach a lesson now after I observed
.her
:The most important things that I learned are
how to manage your classroom because I cannot become a teacher if I 1
have a messy classroom with lots noise it made me understand the
meaning of being a teacher
lesson plans are an important thing to learn about because if I teach the 2
students without a lesson plan I wouldn't know what to do In the lesson
and what to expect and I also would never manage time without my
lesson plan
encouraging positive behavior in the classroom I think is very important 3
because I noticed that the classroom becomes a happy place for students
.to come to if the teacher have a positive behavior
I hope that the teachers understand the importance of these 3 things and I
.hope that they apply them when they teach in their class
