Subject Progress Report on further adding more Blood Drives onto Campus with the help of the Red Cross

During the past week, I have focused more entirely on examining the quantity of how many times the American
Red Cross has been present on our campus (background information). After talking to student senate educations
representative: Qutub Shaikh Ahmed, I came to a sudden disbelief that our school does not keep track of how any
times the Red Cross comes to campus per year. With the help of donation of one pint of blood, three people can
be saved. It is critical that a plan of action occurs by the next year to help save our Detroits own people.

Results from Last Two Weeks
From just these last, past, two weeks, I have come to a better understanding that there are a few problems with
our campus referring to the blood cross. The problems with the partnership with our campus and the blood cross
is that there is not a great relationship built within the two, that there is no record of how many times the Red
Cross comes per year, and the amount of promotion in regards to people being notified enough for these blood
drives.

Plans for Next Two Weeks
During the next two weeks, my plan is to create a primary research tactic such as a survey of simply 5 questions, to
relay my information to major clubs of Wayne State. By using a survey, it will give clubs a basic idea on what the
issue is and what plan of action I can take to impact our campus at Wayne State University. I plan on giving the
surveys off to fraternities, sororities, medical clubs, faculty, and students.

Conclusion
Personally, I feel like I am moving in a rather slow pace. Although I am behind on this project, I do plan on getting
back to the correct pace this next week. By building a connection or relationship with the American Red Blood
Cross, we can help save our cities own people. Remember 1 pint of blood is equivalent in saving about 3 peoples
lives.

In the meantime, two recommendations that can be followed right now are

1. Creating a simple survey with great content on it regards to the blood drive.
2. Notifying the people of what a blood drive consists of and what what they can do for our city.
