Practicum Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the student will:
1. Integrate interprofessional communication and health care team collaboration effectively
addressing system issues.
2. Synthesize practicing loving kindness and being the caring- healing environment with the
altruistic values of Bon Secours.
3. Participate in global health interventions with attention to global health policies,
population health economics, nursing ethics and scholarship which embody the values of
Bon Secours.
4. Design evidence based patient-centered care using nursing knowledge, theory, and
research to provide a framework for high quality patient outcomes.
5. Demonstrate accountable, responsible, professional nursing standards of moral, ethical,
