Standard Operating Procedure


Go around
Pilot can execute a go around anytime if pilot plan to execute an intentional go
around on finals or any position on final approach or pilot feel not safe to land or
when ATC instruction. Then he will follow go around procedure:
Conditions:
Height minimum 200 ft.
ATC Clearance / Permission.
Procedure:

Throttle full open & check RPM.


Carb heat Cold
Hold the attitude For positively increase speed
Wing Flaps -- Retract to 200 (If 300 down already).
Airspeed Maintain 55 knots (Vx)
At 300 feet, wing flaps -- Retract slowly.
Follow normal Climbing speed (Vy - 67 knots)
Join downwind or overhead as per ATC instruction.

Rejected Landing/Balked Landing


When pilot likes to execute a go around from lower height for any reason, like flaring too high, bouncing, ballooning or any other obstruction on the runway then
we will follow the procedure:
Pilot Action:

Power - Full
Attitude Maintain level flight attitude / Holding attitude.
Speed - Wait for 60 KIAS
Flaps Retract -- 200 (If already down 300).
Climb -- 55 KIAS (Vx)
VSI - Check for positive rate
At 200 feet Flaps retract to 00 step by step.

Follow the normal climbing procedure & Contract ATC.
