Trend of tall buildings is new in Pakistan so research knowledge is very
limited. Due to this reason a precise analysis of tall buildings is
necessary to check the working efficiency of the structure before
construction. The main motive of this project was discussion and
evaluation of different ways of modeling the structure of tall buildings.
It deliberated the basic requirements of International Building Codes
(IBC), Uniform Building Codes (UBC), and American Standard Codes
(ASC) for analysis of tall buildings. And then by comparing the results
of these Codes it concluded which method is more veracious for design
purposes of tall buildings to accomplish the best structural performance
especially with regards to wind and seismic loading.
