ClassDojo is a free behavior assessment


tool. It is used to encourage positive
behaviors in the classroom. It also helps
parents to become engaged in their
students class and to interact more
easily with the teacher.

Go to www.classdojo.com and select Sign Up

Select Teacher on the sign up prompt:

Fill out your information on the prompt:

Then click
Sign Up.

If you already have an account, select Log In

Fill out your username and password:

Then click
Log In.

Select Add a Class from your home screen:

Input Class Name and Grade.

Then click
Add Class.

Type each students name to add them to the class:

Then click
Done Adding
Students.

Student invites give them a code to join your class.

Click Next.

Then select OK
to save your
student invites.

It will then prompt you to print out your invites:

Click Next.

Then click Done


with Invites.

Now you can view your behaviors.

You can
choose to
add your
own
behaviors.

Then select
Finish when
you are done.

Select a class from your home page:

To start giving behavior points, select a student:

Then you can select one of the behaviors:

Which will give that


student points.

You can also select Needs Work behaviors:

Which will take points


from that student.

ClassDojo can also be used to take attendance.

Select Attendance.

Click on a student once to mark them as absent.

Click on a student twice to


mark them as tardy.

ClassDojo also lets you interact with parents.

To start connecting with


parents, select Settings.

Select Connect Parents from the drop menu.

You can download and print the parent invites

Or enter the
parents emails.

Then click Invite.

Once connected with parents, you can message them.

Select Messages from


your class home screen.

Here, you will see any messages from parents.

You can type a response here.

To set-up a student account

Click Sign Up.

Then select Student.

Teachers provide students with student invites.

Enter code
