Water
Water is Earths most valuable resource. Up to 75% of Earth is
made of waterbut were taking it, contaminating it, and sending
it back. We need water to survive. Its a well-known fact. But were
still contaminating it, and we cant blame
anyone for tithe only one to blame is us.
I love drinking water, since it is approximately 55%-75%
of our total weight. I am drinking our lake Lanier water
which is crystal clear and shared by three states Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

Some Background
Water is the worlds most valuable resource, hands down. We
need it to survive, to hydrate our crops, to survive for all living
species in the planet. Water is also needed to erode rocks, which
in turn can even create habitats for some animals. But we are
CONSTANTLY contaminating it by having factories that dump out

polluted water into the ponds and oceans.Also, the smoke from
factories can mix with clouds, causing acid rain. This can damage
trees, erode statues, and contaminate bodies of water.

Who is Responsible?
The thing is, half the time, we dont even know were doing
it.Mostly, companies and factories do this. Waste is being poured
into the lakes and oceans, causing tons of contaminants. This
means eventually all sea creatures will become extinct one day.
The future generations will be seeing the pictures of sea
creatures in museums, as we see dinosaurs today. People who
consume the contaminated

creatures
could

get sick or die. And in the end, we only have

ourselves to blame.

What have we done? (To help?)

The government has done a lot to protect the ocean and water. The United
States Environmental Protection Agency has been started to help fight
against water pollution, and other issues. Certain laws have been passed to

help also. Certain areas are prohibited of fishing or hunting. Some animals
have governmental protection.

Conclusion
In short, this is a serious issue. We need
to do a lot of work to redo our mistakes.
And its not up to some organization or
some government agency. Its not up to
the hospital or big companies. Everyone
should take responsibility to conserve and not
pollute it. The water is for entire world not exclusively for human
beings .At the end of the day, its up to US.
