I believe that one of the main aspects of a good conversation is depth.

When a conversation is about something that a person (or both people)
is passionate about, it changes the mood of the conversation entirely.
This adds emotion to the words being spoken. Good conversation is
also filled with opinions and understanding. It should also include
people who are level headed on the topic. Both people should also be
speaking as opposed to one person talking the whole time. A bad
conversation is usually one where the person is short and
nonresponsive. This could be because the person is not passionate or
doesnt care about the subject. A bad conversation can also be one
that lacks understanding. This can usually result in an argument based
on contradictory opinions. Without understanding, people could get
easily caught up on the differing standing points as opposed to hearing
the opposing side. When transferring this to writing, it is important for
the writer to not be biased by including several perspectives. Humility
is important when writing.
