I really enjoyed looking at these numbers and seeing all the different counts throughout
the class. First and foremost this really helped me gain a perspective of what this class is all
about. This is the first time I've really been interested and involved with a math project. When
doing a project or a sample that you have done it builds a type of ownership of the material and
helps you understand what you're doing. I found myself asking subconscious questions like
What is the mean of the read skittles? The graphs do show what I thought I would see. All the
totals are fairly close to each other and that makes sense to me. With that said I think its
interesting that we got a lot of orange skittles. Too bad thats my least favorite flavor. My
individual data was somewhat similar to others but the totals and averages are what make it
make sense in the end.
