    BACKGROUND
    Ujjivan Financial services pvt ltd (ujjivan) was incorporated in 2005 as a NBFC
    by RBI.
    In aug 2008 the company became a member of womens world banking
    network. The company provides financial services to the economically active
    poor to help alleviate poverty.

    Bank Profile:
    Ujjivan is a microfinance institution serving the economically active poor
    customers in urban and semi urban areas. The product portfolio of the
    company comprises various loans for individual business, livestock, housing
    bazaar, safe water, emergency, education, top up, combo and family loans.
    Ujjivan provides business loan in range of RS 8000 to Rs 25000 to self
    employed women to support their business needs such as working capital,
    capital equipment expenditure. Vocational training, repayment of high cost
    debt etc.
    Our bank was originally incorporated as Ujjivan financial servicesa pvt ltd on
    December 28, 2004 at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
