Group Project Checklist & Instructions

Your projects must contain at least one of each of the following visuals pictures or
drawings, maps, tables, and graphs.

Within your projects, you must address all of the items on the following checklist. You
may want to assign each person in your group specific questions to answer as well as
specific letters of the alphabet so that you can complete the project.

You must include a bibliography page to cite your sources!!!

2. What are the major physical geographical features
of the region? (such as rivers, oceans, mountains, deserts,
plateaus, volcanos, etc)

3. What makes it a region?

4. What are the dominant cultures (people) of the region?
5. Elements of the cultures for those found in the region (religion, government, family structure,
language, etc)

6. What countries are included in the region?

7. What are the settlement patterns/population distribution
of the region?
8. What resources are found in the region?
9. What are the major climates of the region
10. What is the history of the region? (Who settled colonized it?)
11. What human modifications or adaptations present in the region?
12. How has the region changed over time? (for example a change from nomadic to agrarian culture, or
rural to urban, changes in government, changes in transportation, etc)

13. What levels of development and economic activities exist in the region?
