Philosophy on Community Colleges

When building a house, the foundation of that house is one of the most important
provisions. If the foundation is not concrete or well structured, the house will crumble. As
a community college graduate, my future was continually shaped and molded.
By attending a community college, my perceptive awareness was increased
substantially. I began to take my college career and education very seriously and became
a pillar of the community. Community colleges have smaller classroom settings; this
affirms that you can have a more personal relationship (educational) with the instructors.
In some universities the classroom setting are so large, students are known by numbers.
Communities colleges will guide students on their basic courses they need to transfer, to a
major university. When a student attends a community college for the first two years, the
cost is less expenses, whereas it will cost more if they would attend a university for their
first two years. This can really help out on a student or parent financial budget. Upon
completing your time at a community college, the student can transfer as a junior and also
with an associate degree.
Community colleges should be a guide to further a student college career for the
future. Whether a student wants to further their college education or take a trade, it is the
foundation for a great career path. The community college laid the foundation for my
college career path.

Sincerely,

Andre Nathaniel
