I am Celesamae T. Vicente a Master in Computer Science student and a scholar under DOST SEI
Engineering Research and Development for Technology (2012-2015). I have already taken up 33
units with a General Weighted Average of 93.54. My thesis proposal entitled Modeling Visual
Attention of Students using Physics Playground was approved last April 2015 and I have been
enrolled in my Thesis Writing II since this August. DOST has also given me the opportunity to do
my research on Eye-tracking technology at National Taiwan Normal University by granting me a
support through the Sandwich Program from August to November of this year.
I am writing to request an extension of one semester for my scholarship for the reason that the time I
allotted for my data analysis did not match up with the actual duration of finishing it. Currently, I am
in the process of finalizing the paper needed for my target defense date on or before February 29,
2016 next semester. I am attaching a chart of the activities needed for me to graduate, the copy of my
grades and the certification of my expected date thesis defense and date of graduation signed by my
adviser.
