Youth Mini Camp: Boys and Girls Grades 1st 3rd in September 2016

Designed to teach basic fundamentals of basketball along with the rules, sportsmanship, and
having fun.
Offensive Skills Camp: Boys Grades 4th 9th in September 2016
June 27 30, 9:00am 3:00pm, Fee $160.00
Designed to teach shooting and all offensive skills of the game along
with using screens, offensive moves, team concepts along with contests
and fun. Campers should bring a lunch.
Fundamental Skills Camps: Boys and Girls Grades 3rd 9th in September 2016

Designed to teach all the skills and rules of basketball along with offensive and defensive
team concepts, contests and fun. Campers should bring a lunch.
Offensive Skills Camp: Boys and Girls Grades 4th 9th in September 2016
August 8 11, 9:00am 12:00pm, Fee $110.00
Designed to teach shooting and all offensive skills of the game along
with using screens, offensive moves, team concepts, and shooting contests.
Camp Features: Teaching instruction by HHS Boys Basketball Coaches, skill contests, a tshirt for each camper and a camp store that will be open everyday from 12:00pm 1:00pm
and 2:50pm 3:10pm. Sports drinks, healthy snacks, and pizza will all be available for
purchase during lunchtime and at the end of the camp day.

Campers will be grouped by ages and ability and assigned a counselor for the week. The camp will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and base

Boys and girls will be trained separately. Campers will be divided in to groups by
age and ability on the first day of camp to allow them to work with children
similar to them. All groups will receive quality instruction and coaching from the
camp staff.

Hillsborough Recreation - Summer Instrumental Music- 2016


This exciting summer program runs for four weeks starting July 5th and will be held at Auten
Road Intermediate School. The program is open to all band and string students entering grades
5-12. Students will receive one forty minute small group lesson and one forty minute ensemble class
daily Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. Classes are scheduled according to
experience and ability. Therefore, not all classes begin at 9 a.m. Class size is limited and requests for
specific classes or class times cannot be honored. Individual schedules with specific class times will be
mailed out by Friday, June 24th.
NEW THIS SUMMER FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS! Improvisation Jazz
Ensemble Class with Mr. Kopf! This ensemble class will be open to band students with a
minimum of 2 years playing experience (not open to percussion, strings, or
keyboard). Experienced band students must indicate ensemble choice on the mail in
registration form below: Concert Band or Jazz Ensemble.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR BEGINNERS! All beginners playing an instrument for
the first time at summer music camp MUST sign up for a two-week session. See below:

Soccer Kids is a program that teaches
soccer through age-appropriate, fun
games. The children acquire ball skills
through specifically designed games
which pre-school aged children love.
The course is based on Tom
McLoughlins top rated soccer book
Soccer Kids Making Soccer Fun for
Four and Five Year Olds and is taught
by the author.

Dickinson University Head Soccer
Coach, Tom McLoughlin and teaches
children the skills that have made
Brazil the most successful soccer
nation in history. The emphasis is both
on skill development and having fun,
while playing soccer. Many of the skills
taught in the program, are the same as
those McLoughlin taught to Tobin
Heath, current U.S. Womens World
Cup star, when she was first learning
to play soccer.
