BULLDOG NEWS
Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!!
Hello Parents and Students:
My name is Ms. Jenelle Tookes and I will be your 3rd grade teacher. I am so excited to be on this
journey with you and your child. I live right here in Macon County and I love being a part of this
community. I am a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University; where I received my Bachelors
degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of three beautiful boys. I believe in hard work
so we will work hard this year to prepare our students for the upcoming challenges. I know we can
do it! Thanks, and lets have a wonderful school year!

your child to create a timeline at home with you ranging from birth to present day (3rd grade). I feel 2009 Began kindergarten

2011 Aunt Molly came to visit
for each year of your childs life to be represented on this timeline. You can add pictures and
captions to capture the special events and milestones that took place during that year. The timeline 2012 Baby sister was born
must include at least 10 events events with photos or drawings to match each event. I would like
this project to be completed as a family. Your child will be graded on overall quality of the project, Here are some more examples:
*First time events (steps, tooth, etc) *Special
