    MobilekillingsquadsalsoknownasEinsatzgruppenwerecreatedtospeedupthekilling

    Septemberto25October1939,over500townsandvillageswereburnedandover16,000

    EinsatzgruppenwentridiculouslyhighthroughoutEurope.TheactivityoftheEinsatzgruppenin
    RussiawasmuchmorefamousthanPoland.There
    AdolfHitlerissuedanorderthatthe
    SecurityPoliceandSecurityServiceswouldassistthearmyincombatingresistancebehind

    Thisbecameoneofthewellknownmovementsmadebythe
    Einsatzgruppen.
    TheactionoftheEinsatzgruppengotoutcontrol.TheEinsatzgruppen
    wereformally
    underthecommandofthearmy,theEinsatzgruppenreceivedtheirorderdirectlyfrom
    Heydrichandforthemostpartactedindependentlyofthearmy.(Website#3).
    Mostofthe
    officerswereveryhappytoleavegenocidalactionstothetaskforces.Howevertheystillhadto
    tolerateandoffersupportwhenitwastacticallypossibletodoso.Therewas
    complaintsabout
    unauthorisedshootings,looting,andrapescommittedbymembersofthe

    Hitlerdidnotcareaboutthesinstheydid.GeneraloberstJohannesBlaskowitzsaid,

    dismissedhisconcernsas"childish",andBlaskowitzwasrelievedofhispostinMay1940.

    countries.ThisunitisoneofmanyexamplesofhowruthlesstheGermansduringtheruleof
    Hitler.Theywentoutoftheirway,withoutanorder,tomakethelivesofJewshorrificand
    painful.AdolfHitlerknewthatthiswashappeningbutdidnotbataneyetothis.Insteadhe
    encourageditandfiredthepersonwhotoldhimaboutthewrongstheEinsatzgruppenwere
    doing.InconclusiontheEinsatzgruppendidhorrific,unnecessary,ruthlessthingsagainstthe
    NazipartyspoliticalenemiesaswellastheJewishpeople.
