Josef Mengele would torture Jews, Gypsy children, and many others.
People were placed in pressure chambers, tested with certain drugs,
castrated, and frozen to death. There was a block that was infected
with lice and Dr. Mengele solved the issue by sending all 750 women
that were there, into the gas chambers. All of Dr. Mengeles operations
were done without any anesthesia. He would kill children who were not
between 150 and 156 centimeters, or 5ft and 5ft 2in.

doctor at Auschwitz-Birkenau. He studied medicine at the University of
Frankfurt. Before working at Auschwitz he looked at genetic

Night is about a young kid named Elie Wiesel who lived through the
holocaust. He was separated from a lot of his family early on and was
left with just his father. He was fighting against starvation and thirst
almost the entire time and had to take care of his father who was ill
and weak. Elie overcame many very difficult challenges in just one
year of his life. He went through many camps in that year such as
Auschwitz and Buna. When his father died it made the struggle even
worse. Although, Elie Wiesel was still able to fight until they were
liberated.
Dr. Mengele was not mentioned very much is Night. When he was
mentioned he was doing selections at the front gate of Auschwitz.
During the selection, he split people into two lines. One line would be
sent to the gas chambers, while the other would go to the camp to
work to their death.
