PLANES
Every member of World War One had
planes at the ready all the time. Planes had
a big impact on the war because of how
they can come in for a surprise attack and
drop some bombs and fly out with losing
any men while still utterly destroying their
opposition.

Zeppelins
A zeppelin is essentially a hot air ballon
boat that is about the size of a modern day
crew ship.

Used in front lines

Caught off guard enemies

Used by almost every party because of

its usefulness

High quantity production wasn't difficult.

Invented in 1814

First used as a transportation device for

civilians

Generally used by the Germans.

The U-Boat makes a U turn

Heavy gunfire would take the air ships

down rather easily

The U-Boat was a heavily armored boat that

was slow , but fast for how much weight it
would carry with its small size. Major improvements were made midway through the
war. When approaching battlefronts the UBoat could only come so close to the shore
with an enlarged bottom and pointed bottom
it had like other traditional boats. Until one
day the decided to flatten the bottom and
make it light weight so it could come right
up onto enemy shores.

The zeppelin revolutionized the war over in

Germany because of its aerial feature plus it
was able to carry lots of troops and military
equipment. Also it was a very big role because of how it was silent and in the dark
night sky although it is huge it would still be
hard to spot if you didn't know it was coming.

How it played its role

Poison gas revolutionized the battle field
because of its low cost to produce and
how deadly one attack of poison gas can
be to a whole brigade of enemy troops.

The U-Boat changed World War One

because of its power to come up to
shores and drop ground soldiers off. Also the heavy guns on the boats destroyed bunkers. The U-Boat was generally used by the allies but there are accounts of both sides utilizing it.

Poison Gas
Poison gas also known to be a stronger
form of tear gas was first used on January 31st of the year 1915. Poison gas got
its poison from the chemical xylyl bromide which was discovered by a German
chemist who also learned and developed
the bottling process for it.
