3. Minutes of Last Meeting
The minutes of the meeting held on the 8th January, 2016 were approved.
Proposed Dave French, Seconded Lyn Broughton.
4. Matters Arising From Previous Meeting
There were no matters arising.
5. Correspondence
The clerk read out a letter sent by Newark & Sherwood publicising and
initiative to Clean For The Queen encouraging local communities to
undertake litter picking over the weekend of the celebrations of the Queens
birthday between March 4th and 6th. The correspondence was duly noted.
6. Planning Applications Number 1, Post Office Lane
Following a review of the plans and discussions the meeting voted on the
proposed conversion and extension of barn to form 1 No. house and

erection of 1 No. house with access from Post Office Lane | 1 Post Office
Lane South Scarle Newark On Trent Nottinghamshire NG23 7JH with the
results as follows:Support 4

Do Not Support 17

Abstentions 2

The Parish therefore did not support the application and will indicate
accordingly to Newark and Sherwood District Council Planning Department.

7. Condition of Roadways
Condition of the roadways outside the village boundary, but forming key
access and egress routes, are in an incredibly poor state and giving great
cause for concern. The worst cases being Bulpit Lane towards Swinderby
and Low Wood Lane towards Eagle.
