3. Minutes of Last Meeting
The minutes of the meeting held on the 28th September, 2015 were
approved. Proposed Roger Clay, Seconded Lyn Broughton.
4. Matters Arising From Previous Meeting
(i)

Solar Panels Mr. Peter Rowlands reported back to the meeting that
despite numerous attempts to contact the organisation investigating a
Solar Farm off Plot Lane no meaningful contact has been made to
explore the possibility of expanding the scheme to include the Parish
Plots. It was decided that the initiative be left in abeyance until such
times as the project, if indeed it does, moves to a more substantive
phase.

5. Correspondence
Nothing to report.
6. Planning Applications The Old Vicarage, Church Lane, South Scarle
Following a review of the plans and discussions the meeting voted on the
proposed construction of a garage, lean-to building and all associated external
works, The Old Vicarage, Church Lane with the results as follows:Support 3

Abstentions 1

The Parish therefore did not support the application and will indicate accordingly
to Newark and Sherwood District Council Planning Department.
In addition the clerk was asked to enquire of Newark and Sherwood if the
planning application is effectively a retrospective application as works have
started on site.
It was also requested that a note be made that the plans as submitted appear to
have a very similar footprint to plans submitted in 2013 and subsequently
refused.

7. Setting of 2016 Precept Charge


The Clerk presented to the meeting a request to set the Parish Precept for
the year 2016/17 at 3,700 representing an increase on the 2015/16 figure of
1.37%.
This will set the average Band D property payment at 42.47 and increase of
0.57 on the previous year.
This request was approved after being proposed by David Duffield and
seconded by Peter Rowlands.
8. Other Business
There was no other business.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.36pm
