The evidence I can show

that I can do this is
I know that art elements
such as highlight, contrast,
texture, lighting is all the
importance in making art. I
also learned that not all art
is traditional. Many artist
break tradition to make an
argument that the world
should know. Artwork is all
about expressing who you
are and what youre all
about. As in all art pieces
that Ive made, it has
meaning. The meaning
behind my most recent
artwork is to achieve your
dreams no matter skin
color, race, morals or
values. My inspiration in
my art piece was Rene
Magritte.

Reflecting in my
sketchbook is something
that Ive tried to do. But
annotating is the most
important, because youll
learn from details and
mistakes and you can
always go back and revise
your artwork. I dont have a
particular style but when
adding color I use bright
colors and try to add detail

When doing my art pieces I

try and use materials that I
dont usually use, but Im
still comfortable to use.
While doing artwork that
requires drawing I use
materials that Ive used
before and know how to
use because I know how
the material works and I
am most comfortable with.
Although, sometimes it is
very difficult to determine
the meaning behind some
artists artwork I always try
to see the meaning to
interpret the message that
the artists wants the
viewer to know. Ways that I
try to interpret the artist
work is the colors they use,
the materials, the wording
or simply what the artist
drew.

very inspiring, if you have a
voice use it! Not all my
artwork can be very
impactful if not intended to
be. If I want someone to
take a step back and be
like whoa then I would
put my best efforts to
making that happen. Most
of my artwork is drawing,
so I try to incorporate some
big problems with the
world and I also try to
make a clear message. Ive
used much of the time in
the art classroom to begin
working with problems
inside me and also
everywhere around me.
