    Simpleoffenseattacksevenfrontedzones,getsgoodshots.

    Thefollowingisasimple,highlyproductive,zoneoffensewitha
    numberofoptionsthatconsistentlyresultsinopenshots.The
    offensemakesuseofsomestandardzoneattackprinciples,suchas
    adribbleentryandshallowcutreplacement,overloadingonesideof
    thefloor,rapidballmovement,screeningthezone,skippasses,
    attackingtheshortcornerandpostentrypasses.
    Thisoffenseissimple,requiresaminimumofplayermovement,is
    quicktoteachandeasilyexecuted.It'sintendedtobeusedagainst
    evenfrontedzones(23zone,212zone,etc.)andithasprovento
    beappropriateandeffectiveatjustabouteverylevelfromyouth
    basketballtotheDivisionIcollegegame.
    Initial122Set
    Theoffenseisrunoutofa122set.Forpurposesofthisarticle,the
    diagramsshowtheoffensebeingrunagainsta23zonedefense.
    Theplaycanberuntoeithersideofthefloorwiththemovementsof
    theoffensebeingthesameonlyreversed.

    Generally,theplayshouldberunawayfromyourbestwingshooter.
    Passesshouldbemadequicklysoastocreatedifficultiesforthe
    zonedefendersinadjustingtocovertheoffense.

    Thereareatleastfourweaksideoptionsthatcanbetried.Anyof
    thesefourshouldbeeffectiveingettinganopenshot.
