Chem shit

Common ion: do rice, except use that salt w/ the common ions concentration and
put that in for initial value for the ion in the rice table

Buffers: initially, set it up just like a common ion problem. As you add either strong
base or acid, must do a bca then rice table. In this case, find the moles of each
component needed as you write the formula for the bca, based on whether it is
strong acid or base reacted to the acidic or basic parts of the buffer. See the limiting
reagent from the moles and then use that as the C in change and subtract/add that
component. To write equation for rice table, use the components left w/ moles from
the BCA table and also take not of the K value at hand. Usually solving for pH, so
solve for pH then.
Strong base and acid titration: initial pH is simply the H+ concentration converted.
Afterwards just bca for additions of base, with the simple equation H+ + OH -> H2O.
before equivalence point use H+ concentration to get pH, at eq pt pH is 7 (when
both H and OH moles are 0). OH YEAH MAKE SURE YOU CONVERT THOSE MOLES TO
CONCENTRATION BEFORE SOLVING FOR PH. After eq pt, use OH concentrations
Weak Acid and strong base titration: initial pH do bca shit, then do bca and rice until
half equivalence, where equal amounts of HA and A- is achieved, so then only do
BCA and pH=-logKa
