2. For calculation of SA, please refer to 403.3.2 of B31.4-2012. Temperature ranges for restrained and unrestrained systems are
mentioned in 402.5.1 and 402.5.2 of B31.4-2012 respectively. All allowable stresses must be less than Ultimate stress (SU). For
SA=f(1.25*(Sc+Sh)-SL), here it is assumed that f=1, Sc=Sh=2/3SY.
3. Refer to Appendix A of ALA.
4. It is checked only in restrained system. User can check it in unrestrained system.
5. Y is defined as ovality.
6. In combined stress calculation, it is assumed that SL=|Fa|-|S H|+|M/z|+|FA/A|. If it fails, user can check the combined stress by
