shape which I wanted to mimic through the design to give a nice clean and modern finish.

To create a montage using Photoshop

Process:

I used Photoshop solely for this project. I selected two photos from online and using the lasso
tool, overlaid Christs hands on the photo of the
earth in space. Using a masking layer, I softened
the edges of his hands and changed the overall
opacity to give it the effect I wanted. I then added
my scripture over the images and used the overlay effect in order for the image to come through

Objectives:

To learn to use InDesign.

Process:

I first began with choosing my photo and logo


for the design based on the given images for this
project. From there I took the images to InDesign
and started placing my photo where I wanted it
as well as my logo. I initially chose a different logo
that was actually a boxy shape. The values of grey
were great with my design, however, it threw off

Process:

I used Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign to create this brochure. I started with the concept of a
photography company, but my original idea was
so simplistic it was lacking and just didnt really
look professional. I had wanted to invoke nostalgia and sort of a vintage feel, but my previous
design was too specific to a type and I wanted it
to reach a broader audience. I decided to update

photos to look professional.

Process:

I used Photoshop alone in order to create this design since that was part of the assignment given
for this week. I used the shapes tool in order to
add the blue background and the long rectangular boxes. I used levels, vibrance, selective color,
contrast, and the sharpen tool in order to edit the
photo. I also resized the image in order for it to fit
the required number of pixels for this design.

Process:

I used InDesign and Illustrator in order to create


my logo. I drew it in Illustrator and created the
card and stationery in InDesign. I used a black
and white color scheme in order to give the design good contrast.
