LOGOS
Description : Design three variations of the same
logo for Homestead Ranch. One is full color,
one is gray-scale, and one is white on a colored
background.
Programs used: Adobe Illustrator
Date: 21 Feb 2016
Objective: Create three completely different,
original logos to fit a company or personal image
that will appeal to the audience. Do not imitate
existing logos or use previous designs.
Process: I first traced my picture using the pen
tool, then I colored it in and added text. I then
made it gray-scale by using the proof color settings
to find the gray equivalent of my colors. For
the third one, I made the blue background and
changed everything that was in color to white and
everything that was white to color.

MONTAGE
Description : Spiritual poster with two images
masked onto one background image.
Programs used: Adobe Photoshop
Date: 14 Feb 2016
Objective: Demonstrate more advanced
Photoshop skills for layout with multiple elements
Process: After picking the quote, I found a
background I thought would fit with it. Then, I
found a picture of Jesus to put on it. I masked the
image of Jesus onto the background image. After
critiquing, I found a different background and
another image which I masked onto it. I used the
magnetic selection tool in Photoshop to get the
woman out of her picture.
