1.Yourlessonshouldcoverandinclude:
a)Allthethingslistedundergroupwork(Donotcopyandpaste,summarizeyourwork).
b)Anactivityoranassignment(suchaspracticepunnettsquareproblems,apedigree,etc.).
2.Alloftheworkforthelessonshouldbeonthegoogledoc(thisincludesanynotesyouwrote
downforyourselfandanyhandoutsyoumayhavemade).
Collaboration
:Onepersoninyourgroupshouldcreateagoogledocandshareitwith
everyoneelse.Eachindividualshouldputthisgoogledocintheirbiochemfolder.Youshould
eachchooseacolortouseonthisdocument,andnotewhichgroupmemberscorrespondto
eachcoloratthetopofyourdocument.Yourgroupwillusethisdocumentforplanning,writing
drafts,andpossiblyturninginyourfinalproduct.Thegoalistobeabletoseeequal
contributionsfromeachpartner.
SincecollaborationisoneofSLAscorevalues,itsveryimportantthatwelearnhowtowork
welltogether.Ifyourgroupishavingtroubles,youneedtoletmeknowASAP.Ifyouwaituntil
thedaybeforetheprojectisdue,Iwontbeabletohelpyou.
Thinkofitthisway:Ratherthandividetheprojectinto4parts(oneforeachstudent),have
each
groupmemberworkon
each
part.Thiswillproduceabetterproject,and,moreimportantly,will
resultineveryonelearningmore!Also,thiswillensurethateachmemberofthegroupis100%
comfortablewiththefinalsubmittedproduct.
