Dears
tephen Dewey,
We are writing to express our extreme gratitude for your generosity and kind heart. Your charity
saved our two-year-old eat, Mr. Charles Bingley. We were not able to pay for his surgery and
without your charity and big heart, he would not be here with us today.
Perhaps the happiest one of us (besides Bingley himself!) is our 15-month-old daughter, Amelia,
She loves our two cats, and loves Bingley the most. His brother, Mr. Fitawilliam Darcy, is
rightly terrified of the toddler, but Bingley always lets her climb on him. Now that she’s a little
older, she likes to give him hugs. Although Amelia may not have known what was going on at
the time, we'will one day enjoy telling her the story about Stephen Dewey and how he saved
little Bingley’s life,
I hope someday we may bestow the same generosity on others, so that we may repay your
kindness in kind.
Sincerely.
