Hey Everybody!

Sorry this e-mail will be short! We have not been able to have a lot
of lessons this past week and my poor companions got sick two Sunday's
ago, so I had to be on splits the majority of the day. Look at this
gringa attempting to fly solo! I may be doing the same thing tonight
as Hermana Granados is still not feeling well.
Update of the week: Hermana Beggs had to leave us last Wednesday
because she was called on a special assignment up to Lehi and now we
have Sister Valencia as our companion! Unfortunately we have not taken
many pictures together! I do not have many pictures from this week! I
know, I am so pathetic!
Two Friday nights ago we had the big Utah Orem Mission musical
fireside at the Alpine Tabernacle and it was packed! I put together a
musical number with three other Spanish Sister Missionaries to sing,
"Mas Cerca Dios De Ti" and it was so nerve racking, but I know the
Lord needed someone's heart to be touched by a musical number in
Spanish. I love it when the mission went around and recited: The
Family: A Proclamation To The World. Brad Wilcox was INCREDIBLE! So
were the BYU Young Ambassadors! I cried all the way home because I had
to say final good-byes to the majority of my favorite missionaries in
the mission. I love our mission song, "Send Me" and being able to sing
that as the closing musical number! President and Sister Killpack are
so inspired! I love them!
We are continuing to build the area. We had 20 lessons this past week!
I have not had 20 lessons since my first area! YAHOOO! I will talk
about a few important people that have a lot of potential.
Familia Hernandez:
Joseph is 10 and wants to be baptized. So we are starting the lessons
with him. His mom, divorced for over a year now, and his old sister,
Samantha, are wanting to start coming to church, and we are praying
they come this Sunday. We are going to teach them today about how
family prayer, family scripture study and church attendance can build
a family.
Sandra:
She was a referral from last transfer and we FINALLY got to teach her
and she has a baptismal date for April 23! I am so EXCITED for her!
Familia Rodriguez:
We are going to be working with them towards receiving their
endowments and being sealed in the temple.
Isaac:
We are not teaching him, but we were out contacting and ran into him.
We asked him if he knew anyone we could teach and he said he did. He
walked us down to show us the houses. Along the way he told us about
some of the challenges he was dealing with, and interestingly enough,

some were like mine when I was that young. We ended up feeling like we
needed to share a message with him and his family. After we were done
and ready to leave he said, "You were an answer to my prayers." It was
a tender moment to hold back the tears. We as missionaries really do
minister, one-by-one.
All in all we are hoping this week to be able to see a lot of the
people that we saw last week! Let's get some consistency here going
with the people of this area!
Here is a link to a video about the Provo City Center Temple
completion! It shows pictures of the inside! So GORGEOUS!

So my subject is about the Easter 2016 initiative from the church
entitled #Hallelujah.

Please click the link and go watch it! What a Spirit it brings with us
to lessons when we have the opportunity to share it! I challenge each
of you to share it on social media with your testimony of the Savior!
I testify that He lives! Through Him, we shall all be made alive. We
all have the hope of becoming as He and Heavenly Father are. I know
that this is His gospel and that this is His work. I love Him. I will
never leave Him. I will forever be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Keep the faith! Have a wonderful week! I love you all!
Con Amor,
Hermana Rackley
