Summary

Over the last decades, the issues regarding the Romanian educational system have
generated a great deal of heated debate, owing to the analysis of the present results and
standards. The purpose of my paper is to underline the main aspects which influence the
management of the quality in education.
The complexity of the situation requires a rigorous approach. Although there are
many laudable examples in Romanian schools, it cannot be denied that we need to
improve the quality in the educational system.
My experience as a teacher suggests that the motivation and the responsibility are
the most important conditions which cannot be replaced. Furthermore, the quality can be
improved only by involving the whole community in the education of our children.
Characterized by innovation and diversification, a well-developed educational system
focuses on the results of students and teachers as well. The main rule is to establish
successive goals and to encourage our students to achieve them by using their own
abilities. The progress will be a predictable consequence of our actions.
All things considered, the key-word of the succes is ,,responsibility, so we need
to understand its necessity and to bear in mind the fact that only educated people are able
to make improvements in our society.
