These are the twelve houses around which our destiny revolves, bringing us joy,
sorrow, height, depression and disappointments etcetra. The framework of the
above twelve houses is drawn by Hindus as shown below.

As shown in the diagram Sun and Moon own only one house each where as others
own two houses.
Aries governs head. Taurus governs face. Gemini governs chest. Cancer governs
heart Leo governs belly. Virgo governs waist. Libra governs the loins. Scorpeo
governs the sexual parts. Sagitarius governs the thighs, Capricorn governs the
knees. Aquarius governs the buttocks. Pisces governs the feet.

The above signs are grouped in three categories as movable, fixed, and common
according to their nature. The grouping is as under.
1.
Movable Signs :- Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.
2.
Fixed Signs :- Taurus, Leo, Scorpeo, and Aquarius.
3.
Common Signs :- Gemini, Virgo, Sagitarius, and Pisces.
Now certain inherent qualities are ascribed to each sign. These are as follows:Aries or Mesha :- Fiery, male and rises with hind-part.
Taurus or Vrishabha :- Female, mild, earthy, and rises with hind-part.
Gemini or Mithuna :- Male, cruel, airy, barren and rises with hind-part.

Leo or Simha :- Male, cruel, fiery, barren rises by head.
Virgo or Kanya :- Female, mild, earthy, rises by head.
Libra or Thula :- Male, cruel, airy, also rises by head.
Scorpeo or Vrischika :- Female, mild, watery, rises by head.
Sagitarius or Dhanu :- Male, cruel, fiery, rises by hind-part.
Capricorn or Mukra :- Female, mild, earthy rising by hinder part.
Aquarius or Kumbha :- Male, cruel, fruitful, airy, rising by head.

Mesha :- Resembles a ram, indicates and governs surface of earth, shrubs, mineral
tracts, inferior jungles, caves, hills, and grazing grounds
Vrishabha :- Characterizes bull, cultivated lands, cowsheds, farms and forest.
Mithuna :- Characterizes twins, governs shoulders, hands, gambling places, hunting
grounds, musicians, dancing women, places of sexual enjoyment, clubs and
gardens.
Kataka :- Like a crab, governs, lakes, ponds, sandbanks, holy-places, and angelic
sites.
Simha :- A lion, indicates forests, caves, jungles, hunting place, hills, peaks of
mountains.
Kanya :- A virgin, arts, green meadows, female, pleasure rooms, pasture, lands,
cow-dung.
Thula :- A man with balance in hand, merchants, companies, pits, commercial
places, godowns, places of sex-enjoyment.
Vrischika :- Underground holes, dirty places, dustbins, dark-retreats, cervices,
depressions and serpents all.
Dhanu :- With bow in hand half man and half animal governs, plains, tents, chariots,
calves, crocodiles, cracks, depressions.
Makara :- Governs rivers, watery places, crocodiles, calves, cracks in the ground etc.
Kumbha :- Water-pots, lower half of leg, marshy-lands, places where birds dwell,
ruined houses, brothel house, toddy-shops, and gambling houses.
Meena :- Sea, ponds, lakes, holy places, shrines, and places of pilgrimage, congress
of holy men, watery places.

Signification of bhavas
It is important to note that the first house of horoscope cast for an individual will be
that which rises at the time of birth. It is called Lagna, Birth, Kalya, Thanu or firsthouse. The second house will be second to this and so on.
Lagna or Thanu Bhava -This denotes nature, ego, build, birth, maternal labour, soul,
life, complexion and fame.
2nd House is Dhana Bhava Varaha Mihira calls it Swa or Kutumba and from this is
known the wealth, right eye, power of speech, condition of the family, teeth,
tongue, income, and ambition, food, neck and throat.
3rd House is referred as Bharathru Bhava :- Some times it is called vikrama bhava
also. From this is known the strength of the family, brothers, sisters, courage, ears,
relatives, truth, servants, anger, patience, short journeys and intellect.
4th House or Mathru Bhava:- Varaha Mihira calls it Bandhu bhava. From this we can
tell all about the relations of the native, his mother, education, lands, conveyances,
books, beds, cattle, medicines, morality, fidelity, friends, end of life, love, comfort
and ornaments etc.
5th House or Putra Bhava :- This is called Budhi bhava also. This signifies intellect,
children, brain, maternal uncle, pilgrimages, speculation, sexual affairs, astrology
and other occult sciences, soul, father.
6th House or Satru Bhava :- This is referred to by some as Kashta bhava or Ari. This
signifies one's enemies, debts, litigations, sickness, wounds, bad luck, ill-fame,
selfishness. theft, dishonour, and night-blindness.
7th House or Dara Bhava :- This is referred to by some as Jamitra Chithota or
Kalathra bhava. From this is signified one's marriage, love affairs, lost-property,
passions, wife, sexual pleasures, sex-diseases, partnership, ambassadors post, wild
thoughts, speculation.
8th House or Marna Bhava :- This is called Ayur bhava or Randrabhava also. This
denotes, nature of death, sins, destruction, punishment, private parts, operations,
danger from poison, obstacles, sickness, accidents, murder, accusations, sorrow,
money from partner, speculations, magnetism, witchcraft, and final exit.
9th House or Karma Bhava :-This is referred to as Shuba, Guru, and Thapas bhava
etc. This signifies father, fathers wealth, charity, elders rituals, merit, kind-ness,
philosophy, priesthood, renunciation, grand children, pilgrimages, yogic powers, and
penance.
10th House or Karma Bhava :- This is referred to as Aspada, Agnya or residence.
From this a Man's profession livelihood, service, respect, success, remunerations,
reputation, merit, po1itical life, command and authority etc can be told.
11th House or Labha Bhava :- This is called Aya Bhava also. This denotes gains,
wealth, proficiency in language, education, willpower, hopes arrivals, elder brother,
fate, patrons, intimacy, drinking habit, second wife, liquor shops, general success.
12th House or Vyaya Bhava :- This governs expenditure, left eye, enemies,
difficulties, un-finished works, loss, hell, evil-spirits, and final moksha.

Here it must be remembered that. the significance of each bhava is increased or

decreased according to the ownership of planets, which may be benefices or
malefics. Ordinarily benefices enhance the results and the malefics are said to exert
goof influence when they are posted in 3, 6, and 11th houses. In other houses they
spoil the significance. This aspect is dealt in detail in 4th chapter. There is some
difference in the significance of bhavas in western astrology. I do not propose to
deal with this here as this book is based mainly to Hindu-system of astrology.
CHARACTERISTICS OF PLANETS
Before considering the effects of planets in different bhavas it is necessary to know
the characteristics of every planet. This chapter deals with this subject.
1. Sun. Sun is the grandest and most powerful of all the planets. He is rightly called
the Father of all planets, for it is this planet which imparts light and velocity to most
of the planets One great astronomer says: The Suns rays are the ultimate source
of almost every motion which takes place on the surface of the earth. By its heat
are produced all winds, and those disturbances in the electric equilibrium of the
atmosphere which give rise to the phenomenon of lightening, and probably also to
terrestrial action and aurora. Every life on earth depends upon the rays of this
great planet, nay the whole universal system depends on this all-powerful planet. It
is quite natural then, the humanity comes under the influence of this planet. Now
some of the inherent qualities of this planet are to be considered. Sun denotes
copper colour, father, soul, atma, forests, deserts, lightening, deserts, headache,
ego, mental derangements heat, east, magisterial power, destruction, creation,
places of worship, day-time, gold, political success, doctors, appetite, coronation,
fires, high fevers enteritis, royal tendencies and rulership; by nature a malefic.
2. Moon. This is one of the most beautiful and fascinating planet. It is the favourite
of poets, philosophers, lovers and astrologers as well. Most of the important yogas
are formed from the position of this planet in a horoscope. Besides the dasa and
Gochara system of astrology depend mainly on the position of this planet. Here are
a few characteristics of this planet: Here are a few characteristics of this planet:
Moon represents, females, mind, intellect, mother, infants, white colour, sea-tides,
pearls, gems, fishermen, stubborn nature, moods, cold. cough, dropsy, urinary,
menstrual, and uterine-troubles. Night time, bath rooms, watery places, sexdisease; north west.
3. Mars. This is one of the, most-talked about planet now-a-days. It is supposed that
life exists on this planet. This however is not supported by sufficient evidence. It is
called War-Lord and governs all military establishments, generals, surgeons,
butchers, carpenters, ambassadors, youth, honesty, accidents, missiles, murders,
mechanics, bombers, airial journeys, illicit love, aggression, maniacs, poverty, lands,
debts, barbers, servants, orators, leaders, dictators, brothers.
4. Mercury. This is supposed to be one of the most powerful in its effects on humanbeings, for it exerts its influence both in day-time and night, and denotes intellect,
power, position, lifts, mathematics, public control, oratory, cold, nervous
temperament, eloquence, trade, north, strong impulses, Vedas, puranas, astrology,

education, green colour, sex-organs, mental diseases, leprosy agility, moods,

eunich, a benefic.
5. Jupiter. A benefic, male, wisdom, children, sacrifice, divine love, sincerity, yellow
colour, ministers, renunciation, elders, priesthood, diplomacy, high aspirations,
penance, north-west, high position, lifts, truthfulness, corpulence, chronic diseases,
hernia, divine nature, a seer, progeny, honours and control over senses. This planet
is famous for giving you fantastic benefits when well-disposed in the horoscope, but
when ill-placed it never hesitates to bring upon all sorts of troubles and misery and
even death. It is said that Jupiter was transiting 6th house from radical Moon in the
horoscope of Vail, when he was suddenly killed by Rama, to whom he did not bear
any malice, and he was transiting the 12th house in the horoscope of Harishchandra
when he had to leave his kingdom and throne in favour of maharishi Viswamitra.
Thus you can see that even though a benefic by nature he is capable of inflicting
the worst when not favourably disposed.
6. Venus. This is the brightest planet and equally fascinating, Feminine by nature
and benefic, denotes lust, love, comforts, conveyances, brother houses, places of
sexual-pleasure, venerial disease, fine arts, post-coital bliss, poems, mixture of all
colours, women in general wealth, mother, ornaments, prosperity, decoration,
confinement, libido, bath rooms, wife con-cubi etc. This is a planet of taste and
refinement. There are rich persons who are careless about their dress and personal
appearance and yet there are others who may be poor but look rich, their dress
tidy, and their tastes refined. This is all due to the position of this planet in a
horoscope.
7. Saturn. Though a malefic it confers upon a person all the wealth of a king when
favourably disposed. It presents a fascinating appearance with its multiple rings
around when seen by telescope. Its characteristics are: A male, malefic, dark colour,
crooked features, philosophy, religion, temples, holy-places, evil spirits, melancholy,
windy diseases, starvation, accidents, judicial service, police, coachmen, gambling,
prison, longevity, robbery, dis-honour, accusations, agriculture, frauds, property,
poverty, demoralization ill-health, heart-disease, unpopularity, political power,
foreign residence, sour-taste, pungent foods, despondency, gastric diseases,
carcinoma, west. Some astrologers refer this planet as hermaphrodite. But it is
generally accepted as male. It indicates a proud nature, sarcastic, curly hair, thin
body, and crooked deeds.
8. Rahu. This is a natural malefic and indicates, corruption misfortune, epidemics,
poison, vitality, strength, maternal-grand parents, dignity abortions, miscarriages,
widow-marriage, leprosy, high intellect, occult sciences, south-west direction.
9. Kethu. This is hermaphrodite, natura1 malefic, and denotes: selfishness,
occultism, grief, quarrels, misunderstanding, unpopularity, stings and bites, paternal
grand parents, worms, eruptions; yoga practice, final emancipation, sudden deaths,
accidents, fraud, losses, illicit children, immorality, and mendicancy. Some planets
are strong in day time and some are in the night, but these two planets are always
strong and move slowly like Saturn. They remain in one rasi for 18 months where as
Saturn remains for two-and-half years. While studying the characteristics of planets,

it is also necessary to note their mutual friendship and reactions to each other like
antagonism and neutrality to read the bhava results correctly. From the following
table the reader can easily understand these relations.

Here it should be remembered well that the planets in the 2nd, 12th, 11th, 3rd, 10th
or 4th, from any other planet at the time of, birth becomes temporary friends. These
relations must be taken into account along with Nisargika relations (permanent) as
referred above when reading the bhavas.
Different planetary aspects
Simply reading out the effects of planets in different houses will not be sufficient, for
we must consider the different aspect of the planets that may be casting on other
planets, without which our readings will be incomplete and fallacious.
Further it must also be remembered that a planet may not be occupying a particular
bhava, but if it is aspecting that bhava, will give the results as if it has occupied the
same. The following lines will show different aspects.

While calculating the different aspects must be remembered that all the planets
except Rahu and Kethu move clock-wise-direction. The planets having more than
one aspect (7th) will powerfully aspect in their particular places. For instance the
4th and 8th aspect of Mars will be more powerful than its 7th aspect and so on.
Saturn's 10th aspect is very powerful and Jupiter's 9th aspect is much powerful than
its 3rd aspect. The student must remember all these things before he ventures
giving any reading. The reader should bear in mind that the western astrologers
ascribe different aspects and that they take into account the minor planets like Pluto
and Neptune, with which we are not concerned. Hindu astrology deals with only nine
major planets. By this it should not be implied that minor planets do dot exert their
influence. They do exert. But fairly accurately the position of the nine major planets
can give us better results. The results of bhavas are affected or increased according
to the nature of the planet and its association with any other benefic or malefic
planets. So all these points must be considered before reading out the bhava phala.
Effects of planets in different houses

1st House :Effects of Sun :- The native with Sun in birth or lagna will be intelligent, boastful,
hot-tempered, couragious, capracious and generous. He will suffer from head-aches,
will neglect personal credit, will be unking and inclined to baldness. Sun in 1st
house indicates political success, good-education, tremendous energy, and high
govt. post.
Effects of Moon :- The native possess beautiful eyes, round face, inclined to be
corpulent in latter years, will be sickly in child-hood, fond of stale food, highly
moody, windy temperament, politician, manager, learned in sciences, diseases of
ears and sexual organs, fear of watery surfaces will have many brothers and sisters,
subject to mental worries, mental diseases, urinary troubles, menstrual troubles,
proud, tenacious, changing wealth, will be highly passionate, and of phlegmatic
tendency.
Effects of Mars :- The native will have many scars on the body or head, moles on
face, highly irritable, proud, love to quarrel and fight, big navel, will be tactful, early
danger to father, highly placed in life, paternal estate, will act rashly, easily angered
and easily cools down, couragious.
Effects of Mercury :- The native will have many enemies, well-read, clever in speech,
long lived, disciplined, intelligent, astrologer, equal to a ruler, wealthy, virtuous
acts, mathematical mind, a poet, loves is wife, fond of magic, loved by friends and
relatives, resourceful, an author teacher, adviser.
Effects of Jupiter :- The native with Jupiter in lagna will be magnetic, wealthy, many
brothers happy, well-educated, good personality, corpulent, famous, respected by
rulers good grammarian, high post, well-behaved, god fearing, respects his elders,
good health, long lived, sweet speech, a leader, political success, a minister, priest,
religious minded, many children, well wisher of his brothers, helping nature,
modest; when favourably disposed without any bad aspects this is one of the best
position to have in a horoscope. Jupiter in lagna without bad aspects, assures
success in all walks of life.
Effects of Venus :- The native will possess a beautiful personality, will be fond of
women, will love his wife, long-lived, well read, intelligent, will be adept in sexual
arts. Interested in occult science, scholar, will enjoy comforts of life, prosperous,
happy marriage, happy children and good conveyances.
Effects of Saturn :- This is not a good position to have. The native will be
melancholic, sickly, prone to nervous disease, dark complexion, curly hair, crooked
features; if benefic aspects the colour may be that of gold or copper, laxy type, loss
of wealth and children, perverted mind, passionate and dirty habits, village life,
police service, judicial service, and if he is in his own or house of evaluation will
confer upon the individual rulership of a town, high post, ministership, foreign
travel, if house of debilation will suffer from poverty and punishments.
Effects of Rahu :- The person will be tall, energetic, and quarrelsome, may be
issueless, will suffer from various diseases, many abortions, mental affliction, will be
greatly mis-understood by his people, will be bold and irritable, will suffer from

displeasure of superiors, punishments confinement, prison, and other discomforts.

Generally it is a bad position.
Effects of Kethu :- In many respects Kethu behaves like mars, but it has got its own
characteristics in different bhavas. Kethu in janma will make a person quarrelsome,
aggressive mental afflictions, hard-hearted, diplomatic, tactful, ill-health, lean-body,
loss of position and lands, may suffer from food poison will be subject to epidemic
diseases quarrel with wife, unhappy marriage, troubles from children, drinking habit,
sweats much, ill-luck, tries to improve destiny by different means, but fails,
disappointments in life interested in black-magic, and fake kavachas etc.
2nd House :Effects of Sun :- Will have diseases of teeth and eyes, will be wise and happy, will
treat his wife badly, harash-speech, loss of wealth, bad health, govt; displeasure,
stubborn, broken education hardships in life, diseases of face, tries to make money
but fails; always wanting in something, generally speaking unlucky.
Effects of Moon :- Beautiful eyes, big teeth, gain of money, good education, foreign
travel, friendship with men in power, happy, intelligent, respected in his family,
handsome face, may have squint in the right eye, prone to cataract of eye stubborn
but sympathetic, polite, uncertain wealth.
Effects of Mars :- The native will be talkative, angry, arguing nature, quarrelsome,
studious hard-working, proud, spending on evil way association with bad men;
quarrels with wife ordinary wealth, paternal estate, fixed ideas stubborn, bad
temper, wanderer.
Effects of Mercury :- Wealthy, sweet speech good-behaviour, learned, witty,
eloquent, self earned wealth, polite, tactful, many children religious, a banker, bookkeeper, artful, stenographer, storer of grains, merchant.
Effects of Jupiter :- The native will be happy, lucky, good-income, intelligent, good
speaker, leader, accumulated wealth, distinguished among his people, loved by all,
charity acts, religious minded, enjoying good food, scholar and truthful large eyes,
handsome personality, good children, noble wife, helping nature, maid servants,
earn by fair means, respects law, will have big teeth with space between teeth,
suffers indigestion, tonsillitis, loves his wife, makes good teacher and advisor,
judicious mind, of sharp intellect and good memory, strong hearing power,
eloquent.
Effects of Venus :- Happy many children fond of widows, hates his wife secretly,
good income, well-set teeth, good memory, romantic, good-food, good-associations,
influential in society enjoys conveyances, educated, taste in fine arts and music,
actor.
Effects of Saturn :- The person will be of loose character, big and ugly teeth, partial
deafness, will have two wives or concubi, facial disease, poor weak-eye-sight,
constant headache, broken education, dry temperament, evil mind, liar, habitual
drunkard, deceitful, greedy, fond of spicy food wanderings, criminal tendencies,
highly corrupt, may stammer while speaking, harsh jokes false promises.
Effects of Rahu :- The native may be issueless, poor, sorrowful, big-body, two wives
or concubi-lustful, ambitious, may be blind in one eye, suffers constant head ache,

and weak eyesight separation from family, stammering sensitive, worries, lacking in
self confidence.
Effects of Kethu :- The person will be talkative, suffers from wife's side; ill health,
hated by relations, short temper, little education, fond of meat, liar, bad behaviour,
false promises, meaningless jokes, harsh speech, quarrel with wife.
3rd House :Effects of Sun :- The native will be intelligent, courageous, educated, connected with
medicine, astrologer, strong likes and dis-likes, wealth in cash, many brothers,
famous, success over enemies, liberal views, adventurous, inimical to brothers.
Effects of Moon :- Strong views, adamant, danger to mother, fond-of wife or
husband, many sisters, suffers from windy complaints, loss of mother, learned,
consumption, moody, may be the only hire to property.
Effects of Mercury :- Will be intelligent miserly, many brothers and sisters, unhappy,
in marriage, loves his relations, success over enemies, timid, often purposeless
labour, some gains good brothers, earns well.
Effects of Mars :- The native will be fond of low class women, will have few brothers,
courageous, property will be divided, short tempered, often un-reasonable, proud,
many cousins, deter mental to brothers, bad behaviour, secretive, success over
enemies, some gains, wife may be adulterous; intelligent.
Effects of Jupiter :- Good brothers, prosperity to brothers, honourable, miserly, high
status in life, sensuous, addiction to drinking, and other evil habits, famous wellversed in Vedas and shastras, polite, chief among brothers, helping his relatives,
good children, successful life.
Effects of Venus :- Wealthy, many sisters, un-satisfactory wife, obliaing in words,
poor married life, highly sensitive, respected among relations, sensual and
courageous may be addicted to other's wives.
Effects of Saturn :- Wealthy, happy, courageous, success over enemies, some gains,
few children, riches, famous, loss of position for brothers, commands many male
and female servants, greedy, wicked mind and healthy.
Effects of Rahu :- Brothers will prosper, good position, wealth, courage, subdues
enemies, political success, long-lived, energetic, councillor, leader, few issues,
partial deafness may be present, rich, own property, general success in life.
Effects of Kethu :- Loved by all, courageous, many brothers, inimical to brothers
fond of pungent food, popular, wealthy, danger to brothers property may be
divided, success over enemies, brave acts, military or police service, good income,
unhappy marriage, disagreement with partners.
4th House :Effects of Sun :- The subject is greatly mis-understood by his friends and relations,
quarrels, mental worries, bears hatred for his own people, defective organs, hearttroubles, unhappiness, foreign residence, anxiety, danger to mother, likes to cohabit
with low-class women, chest-pains untruthful, ill-health, broken education.
Effects of Moon :- Sound education, good mother, short life to mother, obstinate,
good character, agriculture, sensual, fame, conveyances, constructer of well and
tanks.

Effects of Mars :- Danger to mother, sickness to father, misunderstandings, quarrels,

unhappy marriage, sensual, fond of others wives, bad associations, heart-disease
un-satisfactory wife, murderer, suicidal tendencies, own property, fame and
conveyances.
Effects of Mercury :- Highly educated, intelligent, happy, good-mother, polite, own

Effects of Moon in different Rasis
From the previous chapters the readers might have formed an idea about the
human nature which is so complex and varied. A man may be rich but lacking in
taste and common sense; whereas another man who may be poor but is tactful and
clever. There are so called respectable persons who have connections with their
maid-servants, and there are others who may be of middle-class or poor sect, but
lead a pious and contented life. Why should there be such difference in human
characteristics? Astrology has answer to this question. By the position of the planets
in a horoscope and yogas formed the astrologer can accurately tell the character of
the native. The foregoing chapters give you comprehensive details in bhavareadings, but a student should remember that apart from what has been described
so far, the position of the Moon particularly, and that of Sun, and the strongest
planet in the horoscope will also modify the nature of man. The rising sign is also of
primary importance, for a person will imbibe most of the characteristics of the
navamsa that rises at birth. I will now deal with the effects of Moon in different
Rasis.

wealth and women, changeable fortune, sickly in infancy, separation from family.
Moon in Meena:- Sweet tongued, enjoys others wealth, fond of wife and flowers, big
head, inclined to be bald, submissive to women, few enemies, liked by females,
quite and calm nature interest in fine arts, changeable fortune, good nature, walks
swiftly, restless, charming eyes, smooth body, wealthy, short and stout limbs, small
organ, energetic, and gentle.
The result of planets in different houses depends upon the fact whether they are
posited in the sign of their exaltation or debilitation. For instance Sun in Meena will
give excellent results and will enhance the significance of that sign, but in Libra he
is debilitated and as such will give bad results only. If be is posited in Simha, which
is his own sign, he will be inclined to give better results. The same is true with other
planets also. I will describe the signs of debilitation and exaltation below:

The students will have to balance all these points intelligently before reading out
the results of different bhavas or Planets. Suppose lagna is Mesha, Moon in Kataka
and Sun in Libra. Then you will see that the Moon is strongest of all other planets.
So the native will imbibe most of its characteristics.
As I have already stated the character of person will depend upon the rising
navamsa of lagna, position of Moon, Sun, and any other planet which may be
exalted or strongest of all the planets. Besides, you have to take into account the
aspects of good and bad planets. When reading the results of bhava, all the above
points should be carefully weighed and due consideration also should be paid to the
karaka planets for different lagnas, otherwise the reading would be wrong. I would
be doing injustice if I do not mention the effects of constellations in which the
planets are situated. They too exert their own influence on character, build and
general life of a person, so only a mastermind can carefully combine and calculate
all the forces at work and then predict. The strength of horoscope depends upon the
number of planets exalted or in their own houses and other favourable positions like
kendras and trikonas. For instance you take lagna as Mesha and Sun there, Libra as
lagna and Sun situated there, and Leo as Lagna and Sun's position there. Will the
effect be the same because Sun in all cases is in the 1st house! It can never be. So
simply by looking at the bhava results the prediction will be wrong. We have to
consider all such points as described above and then venture any predictions.
Gochera results of Planets
This is an important part of the Predictive Astrology. You, can predict the immediate
future fairly accurately with the help of gochera movements of planets.
Before I actually begin this subject, I want to add few lines for the closed mind
which is incapable of expansion and reception of truth an which functions within the
prejudiced frame work I mean those people who condemn astrology without having
studied the subject. The have done a great dis-service to the cause o science by
indulging in malicious propaganda. I am a doctor myself and I have studied the
subject in all its aspects and vouchsafe the truth in it.
Dr. Sampurnanand has rightly remarked in his recent address to the Association of
Scientific workers, that those who do not accept the truth of what the astrologer
designates as facts, have, no right to ask him to explain them in scientific terms. All
the great men of past and pres en have held this ancient science in great esteem.
Planets do not show sympathy to anyone. They give good or bad results according
to their transits. Even Sri Rama and Sri Krishna were not spared. The divine God

when incarnates as human being, voluntarily offers himself to be affected by the

transit of planets. A glance on the horoscope of Sri Rama and Sri Krishna will explain
to you all about the myth in their lives and also the nature of their final exit from
this planet (Earth).
Now, as I have already said the gochera movements of the planets is very
