TEACHING EXPERIENCE
2014-present

BBS 502, Special Topics in Basic Biomedical Sciences (2 hours per

semester) Literature survey course taken by first year graduate
students to discuss assignment manuscripts. Facilitate critical
evaluation on study rationale, methodologies used, results, and
interpretation of data.

2014-present

BIOL 145: Drugs We Use and Abuse (3-4 hours per semester)
Team-taught undergraduate course introducing the fundamentals of
drugs and their effects on the body. I cover cardiovascular and
diabetic drugs, asthma and allergies, and hormonal contraceptives
as well as a systems overview lecture.

2015

PPY 2545, Human Physiology, Reproductive Physiology Section (1

hour per semester) A team-taught introductory course in the
fundamental mechanisms of human physiology. My lecture
provided an overview of male reproductive physiology including
anatomy, androgen synthesis and mechanism of action, male
reproductive life cycle, and feedback regulation of gonadotropin
secretion.

2015

BBS 503, Basic Biomedical Science, Classical Genetics Section (4

hours per semester) A team-taught survey course covering a wide
range of topics in biomedical sciences to provide first year graduate
students with a foundational knowledge base. My lectures cover a
range of topics including Mendelian genetics, genetic linkage,
heredity and inheritance patterns, quantitative genetics, and
techniques in molecular genetics.
