Biographical Information about the Author


Aldous Huxley was born in Surrey, England in
1894, as the third child of his father Leonard
Huxley and mother, Julia Arnold. Both placing an
influence on Huxley, in terms of literary works
especially religious and scientific. Aldous earned
his education by attending Eaton Preparatory
School, Balliol College, and Oxford. In the decade
of the 1920s, Aldous publishes the first of his novel
Chrome Yellow (1921), followed by three others
between the years of 1923 and 1928. However in
1932, he publishes his most notable novel Brave
New World, continuing with a successful career as
an author. Until his death in 1963.
