A meeting of the MDP Cell of NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research was
conducted on 20th September, 2015 at 4.00 pm in the Seminar Hall (5th Floor).
The Agenda of the meeting was as follows:
1) Follow up meeting of the faculty members after the presentations on 25th August, 2015
2) Review of brochure content for MDP of other Institutes of management
3) Suggestions

The minutes of the meeting are as follows:
1. The MDP brochures of three institutes FMS, IIM-Ahd and Jaipuria were shared by
Dr. Mangesh Kasbekar with the members present.
2. Brochure Content The content flow of the brochures of other institutes was almost
similar.

We could economize by taking colour printouts instead of a formal hard bound

brochure.
The E-copy (soft copy) of the brochure should be on the institutes website before we
market the MDP.
3. Venue There was quite some discussion by members on the venue of the MDP.
All agreed that the MDP should happen ideally within the campus of our institution.
But we also should be open and flexible for conducting the MDP outside the institute.

4. Members discussed the idea of preparing PPTs for marketing the MDP to various
organisations.
5. Members felt the need to freeze the faculty members who will get involved in the
MDP so that we can function uniformly.
6. Members expressed the need to have a team exclusively for marketing of the MDP.
7. Members suggested Director Sir could leverage his contacts for getting an MDP for
the institute.
